FlexMFG Assembly for Acumatica

The solution for distributors who sell finished goods that require assembly. Expands Acumatica’s kitting features. With FlexMFG Assembly, kits function as finished goods whether pre-built or assembled on demand per a sales order. (The later not available with core Acumatica.) Available to Promise visibility is provided for both options.

The FlexMFG Assembly Kit BOM may include both material and labor to calculate cost of goods sold. MRP replenishment is per an individual kit or multiple kits — at the finished goods level with components netted to calculate overall demand of all items included in kits. Purchase orders may be automatically generated when material is required, and the replenishment logic complements core Acumatica regarding safety stock, EOQ, lead time, etc.

A FlexMFG Assembly work order may be directly linked to a sales order, created from a production plan or an optional, integrated forecast module. It generates (bar coded) production work orders and supports multiple assembly activities with functions for (actual) labor entry or “quick complete.” An optional graphical schedule board visualizes shop load.
