Acumatica held its annual summit from January 23-28 at the Wynn in Las Vegas. It’s fair to say that everyone had a good time, but as always, we were mostly there to work. (Mostly…)

In his opening keynote, Acumatica CEO Jon Roskill emphasized the importance of taking advantage of modern, cloud-based business solutions in a rapidly changing environment. To this end, the 2022 summit focused on collaboration, innovation, and acceleration. The event featured announcements of several new products and integrations for Acumatica.

The summit also offered opportunities to collaborate through sharing new ideas, past successes, and business best practices. Attendees got the chance to innovate through learning about exciting new high-productivity features, industry-leading mobile apps, multi-cloud integrations, and more. Acumatica also provided people with a venue for increasing their knowledge and effectiveness. The goal throughout was to enable Acumatica customers to foster business growth through the platform.

IBS Imperium

Acumatica has acquired the IBS Imperium application. IBS’s full financial management suite was built on the Acumatica Cloud xRP platform as a property management system. It will support future growth for the Acumatica Construction Edition. IBS has been available as an independent software vendor (ISV) solution on the Acumatica marketplace since 2018. Roskill’s keynote highlighted the importance of this addition for real estate property management, a growing sub-vertical that Acumatica is expanding on.

Autodesk Integration

Acumatica’s xRP platform will now integrate with Autodesk. The integration builds on an already existing integration between Acumatica and ProEst, an Autodesk company. Autodesk assists with tracking construction project costs and planning documents such as drawings and building information modeling (BIM).

Document Cloud with Adobe

Acumatica announced a new partnership with Adobe to offer eSign capabilities bundled with Acumatica’s PDF Annotator. The partnership will streamline project management. Users can now avoid jumping between systems. Customers will also no longer have to deal with complex licensing issues.

UiPath Connector

UiPath robotic process automation (RPA) is one of two new connectors announced at the summit. The aim of RPA is to improve customer agility. UiPath will also boost productivity by easily automating repetitive tasks. UiPath’s RPA technology and the new Acumatica connector will allow customers to eliminate mundane tasks and assign people to more valuable workloads.

Amazon Connector

Acumatica’s new Selling Partner API connects with Acumatica’s commerce-enabled ERP. For merchants who sell on Amazon via Fulfilled By Amazon (FBA) and Fulfilled By Merchant (FBM), the new native integration retrieves orders as they happen and keeps inventory levels up to date on Amazon’s marketplace.

Commitment to Sustainability

Roskill highlighted the importance of sustainability and Acumatica’s goal to help customers reach sustainability goals through its cloud-based digital services.

“Sustainability is a mindset at Acumatica,” said Roskill. “We are actively integrating sustainability efforts across our business and at our annual Summit event.” To this end, Acumatica worked to optimize recycling and composting at the event itself. The goal was to ensure sustainable attendee gifting, donate unserved food, and leverage renewable energy sources. He added, “Now, we’re turning our focus outward by enabling greater sustainability for our customers. When an Acumatica ERP customer moves its business from a legacy solution to Acumatica’s cloud services solution, the customer reduces its carbon output by an average of 72%. With Acumatica, our customers can improve operational efficiency to make better decisions, track their progress, and realize their environmental impact goals.”
